The Chennai Super Kings, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who won the tournament three times after the IPL auction ended 2020, look quite strong and balanced. CSK is once again in contention to win the title. CSK included Indian spinner Piyush Chawla, England's young all-rounder Sam Karan and Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood in their squad in this auction.
The team bought Piyush Chawla for a whopping Rs 6.75 crore. However buying Cricket Fans by giving them so much money did not make much money as Chennai Super Kings already have a lot of spinners.
